​The Archdiocese of Colombo invites all Priests, Parishioners, and Faithful to mark their calendars for the upcoming Archdiocesan Pilgrimage to the Madhu Shrine, scheduled from May 11 to May 13, 2025. This sacred journey, undertaken in view of the Jubilee Year 2025, is an opportunity for spiritual renewal, personal reflection, and communal prayer.

Under the patronage of His Eminence Malcolm Cardinal Ranjith, together with the Auxiliary Bishops of the Archdiocese, this pilgrimage promises to be a time of grace and transformation. The pilgrimage to Our Lady of Madhu, Sri Lanka’s most revered Marian shrine, has long been a source of countless blessings for the faithful. 

As Pope Francis reminds us, the Jubilee is a call to a "conversion of life." Let us respond wholeheartedly to this invitation, seeking the intercession of Our Blessed Mother as we journey together in faith. 

We kindly urge all Priests, Parishioners, and the Lay Faithful to keep these days free and participate in this spiritual experience. May this pilgrimage deepen our faith, renew our hearts, and bring us ever closer to Christ.
