The Negombo Electro-Technical Institute proudly hosted its NVQ Certificate Awarding Ceremony under the meaningful theme: “A Technical Device with a Mind Full of Honest Heart.” The event highlighted the integration of technical expertise with moral integrity—core values upheld by the Institute.

The ceremony was conducted under the guidance of Rev. Fr. Anthony Fernandopulle, Director of the Institute, who emphasized the importance of forming not only skilled technicians but also individuals with strong ethical foundations.

The awarding of National Vocational Qualification (NVQ) certificates was presided over by His Lordship Maxwell Silva, Auxiliary Bishop of the Archdiocese of Colombo, who commended the graduates for their dedication and encouraged them to be instruments of truth and service in their respective fields. Special guests included Rev. Fr. Rohan de Alwis and Rev. Fr. Francis Jayakody, whose presence added grace and encouragement to the occasion.
