The Thomas Cardinal Cooray OMI Memorial Oration 2025 was held on Friday, 17 October 2025 at Aquinas College, Borella, Colombo 8. His Eminence Malcolm Cardinal Ranjith, together with the Committee for Promoting the Cause of the Canonization of the Servant of God Thomas Cardinal Cooray OMI, invited the faithful, clergy, religious, academics and friends to this annual event.

Professor Mohan De Silva (MBBS; MS; FRCS (Edin); FCSSL; former Dean, Faculty of Medical Sciences, University of Sri Jayewardenepura; former Chairman, University Grants Commission) delivered the memorial address on the theme: “At Crossroads: Responding to Sri Lanka’s Exponential Demand for Medical Education.”
